Welcome pack
Pick up your welcome pack at registration. It contains lots of useful information provided by the NewcasteGateshead Initiative (http://www.newcastlegateshead.com/index.php). Your 4-day (Monday-Thursday) conference travel card will be included in the pack. The card allows delegates unlimited travel on the Tyne and Wear Metro system and NewcastleGateshead's new yellow Quaylink buses which operate a frequent service around NewcastleGateshead's iconic quayside area.
Food and drink at the Sage Gateshead
A meal deal option will be available for delegates from one of the foyer areas for the duration of the conference. The café will also be open for delegates to use offering a range of hot food, sandwiches, cakes and speciality coffees.
Should delegates wish to book into the Brasserie restaurant they can do so by calling +44 191 443 4654 quoting MARINE to ensure that any evening meals are served at lunch time prices (£3 off evening meal prices; 2-course £14.95 and 3-course £17.95). Download the July menu here.

Virtually anything can be expected but let's hope for blue skies and balmy evenings. However, even on hot days, evenings can get a little chilly so you would be well advised to pack a sweater or fleece. A waterproof and/or umbrella could also come in useful!
