Registration

Sunday registration

Registration will be open from 4-7 pm on the 25th July in the Concourse of The Sage Gateshead (the registration desk will also be open on Monday morning at 8 am).

Food and drink will be available at Sunday registration. You will receive a drinks voucher, which can be exchanged at any of the bars that are open on the day (all of the Hall One bars, Hall 2 bar, the mobile outlets as well as the café) for a glass of wine, beer (pint or bottle) or soft drink and a food voucher to the value of £5 for exchange at any 'digby trout Restaurants' (dtR) catering outlets within The Sage Gateshead and at the outdoor grill. The grill will be offering burritos and their other catering station will be offering tacos or jacket potatoes with hot filling. dtR staff (wearing black shirts) will be able to advise delegates of the offers and where they can use them.

Why not drop by early and experience the SummerTyne Americana Festival (see what's on 25 July at http://www.thesagegateshead.org/whats_on), which has become recognised as a leader in the festival calendar for presenting some of the most credible and popular names in alt country through deep Southern gospel to soul, electrifying blues and rock, live from both inside and outside The Sage Gateshead on the spectacular south bank of the River Tyne. The free outdoor Jumpin' Hot Stage will run from 12-7 pm.

In the evening we have a special offer for delegates:

Jakob Dylan and Three Legs plus special guests (Sunday 25 July 7:30 pm; Venue: Hall One, The Sage Gateshead)

We are excited to present one of the hottest acts in alternative country and Americana this year - Jakob Dylan & Three Legs. Hot on the heels of his recently released and highly acclaimed album 'Women & Country', produced by T Bone Burnett, this promises to be one of the must have tickets of the Festival.

In the late 1960s, Bob Dylan evolved musically from a folk singer playing simple, but lyrically-loaded tunes to a plugged-in rock star. Just about 40 years later, his son did the opposite. Appearing for the first time in England outside London, we are thrilled to welcome Jakob with his band. The album 'Women & Country' has the same hushed intimacy and gorgeous vocal interplay of Robert Plant and Alison Krauss' Grammy-winning album 'Raising Sand', with Neko Case and Kelly Hogan taking over Dylan's higher register harmonies. Live, in Hall One this will be phenomenal. Tickets should be £17.50, but delegates can buy at a reduced rate of £10. To book call the Ticket Office (+44 191 443 4661) and quote 'Marine Fouling' to get the special offer, or alternatively purchase on the day.
